If you are unsure of your hat size, measure your head using a tape measure and then consult the chart below. When using a tape measure, measure around the widest part of the head, slightly above the ears, where the inner rim of your new Panama hat should rest snugly. If your measurement is between sizes, use the larger size.

Note that hat measurement is not an exact science, and that some Panama hats just fit differently than others. These sizings will steer you in the right direction, though.
